Reese is getting bigger!

I wanted to post a few pictures of my little sister Reese, well let's just say my younger sister Reese. It seems like Mommy is constantly feeding Reese and boy does it show, check out those legs!! Mommy says that I was chubby when I was little too but I think that Reese is the fattest baby in the world! Sometime I worry that one of my toys is going to get lost in all those rolls!

Here's Reese on the beach. She is still too little to make sandcastles with me or play in the waves but she really loves to watch me. I told Reese all about the Jersey Shore and how much fun it is there. Reese can't wait to see it for herself one day, right now she will have to make do with the beaches here in Hawaii :)

More outside fun!

Checkout this great new sand and water table that my Daddy got for me and Ava! I am too little to play with it right now but give me a few more months and I'll be ready. Ava is already having tons of fun moving the sand around and building roads and bridges for the trucks. She really loves driving cars and trucks through the water and making as much of a mess as possible.

Daddy Teaches Ava About Gardening

I had so much fun this weekend because Daddy taught me all about gardening. We repotted about ten plants and cleaned up all our flower beds. I even helped carry the really heavy stone edgers that we put around the flowerbed (well Daddy did most of the heavy lifting but I supervised him very closely).

My favorite part was Daddy telling me about the different plants and what they need to grow and why. I even had my own Dora gardening gloves. I love spending time outside with Daddy, he always takes me on the best adventures!

Reese is eating cereal!!

I am very happy to report that mommy and daddy have finally started me on some real food! I love eating rice cereal as you can tell from the pictures. I now demand cereal at least once a day and sometime twice! My sister Ava doesn't think that my cereal looks very appetizing but I can't get enough of it.

Maunawili Falls

Today daddy and I hiked to Maunawili Falls, it was fun! I walked some of the way but daddy carried me in my backpack for most of it because there was a lot of mud and we had to cross a bunch of rushing streams. It was about three miles and about four hundred feet up hill. Along the hike Daddy showed me banana and coffee trees. From our picture here we could see all the way to Kaneohe bay and the base where my house is, I was really thirsty and didn't want to share my water with daddy.

My favorite part of the whole trip was at the falls where people were jumping into the water from high up on the rocks. Every time someone made a big splash I would cheer.

I had a lot of fun on my first Hawaiian hike but I still miss all my family, especially my cousin RJ who had his first birthday party today.
I cant wait until we go hiking again and explore more of Oahu with my Daddy!

Mommy turned 30!!

On July 10th my mommy turned the big 3, 0! Since I am only five months old 30 years old sounds ancient to me but everyone keeps telling mommy that the best years are ahead. Daddy, Ava and I took mommy out to Buzz's for dinner and everyone had a great meal (well everyone but me). Mommy got a beautiful watch from Mommom, Poppop, Aunt Jacki, Uncle Pat, Aunt Kate, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Robby and RJ. Mommom also had an awesome video made from pictures of mommy throughout her life, she really loved it! Daddy gave mommy a much needed new cell phone, her old one was so lame.

The best present of all was the arrival of our dog Elvis. It took a lot of work but he finally arrive here in Hawaii on Wednesday night and we all couldn't be happier. As you can see Elvis has been sleeping with my sister every night now that she is in a big girl bed. I want Elvis to sleep with me too but daddy said no dogs allowed in the crib!

Our first blog!

My sister Reese and I thought that it would be a good idea to start a blog to keep our friends and family up to date with everything that we are doing (we got the idea from our friend Law, thanks Law!). Reese and I will take turns posting pictures and messages as often as we can with our busy schedules!
Here I am at the beach building a sandcastle for my princesses. My daddy takes me to the beach almost every Saturday and Sunday mornings. I really love living so close to the beach although I miss being at my Mommom and Poppop's shore house! I can't wait for them to visit me here so that I can show them my favorite beach spots. My Aunt Kate will be here soon, Reese and I are so excited to see her!
