Welcome Home Daddy!

Ava and I are happy to announce that Daddy is home from deployment!! OK, he has been home for a couple of months now but we have been so busy spending time with him that we haven't kept up with our blog. We are very sorry and we promise to do better!
Here is one of the signs we helped Mommy make. We wanted Daddy to know just how much we missed him!

We all got dressed up and headed over to the hanger to wait for Daddy's airplane to land. We were so excited and a little nervous.

Here he is!!! It took a long time for all the Marines to get off of the plane but after a few minutes we could see Daddy walking down the stairs, it was so exciting! Ava gave Daddy a lei and we all hugged for a long time.

Ava was so happy to see Daddy! She didn't stop smiling for a week! I was happy to see Daddy too, it only took me a few days to get used to having him around again and I had a lot of fun things to show him like eating solid foods, walking and even a little talking!
We are so proud of Daddy and all of his Marines. Seven months was a long time but it seems like a far off memory already. Welcome home Daddy!

Trying the Luck of the Irish

For St. Patty's Day we decided to try our luck at
Chuck E. Cheese! Ava, Mommy and I were all decked out in our green and ready to play some games and win prizes!!

As you can see my sister Ava is really good at winning tickets! She is showing me all her tricks!

We always have so much fun when our best friend Kensley and her mom Mrs. Kristi are with us. Ava and Kensley love to play as many games together as they can.
Here I am climbing up the slide, it is my favorite thing to do at Chuck E. Cheese. Mommy doesn't like to spend the whole time helping me up and down the slide, I'm not sure why?

Happy Birthday Reese (for real this time)

Our little Reese is a year old!! It's hard to believe that it was only a year ago that I was an only child, boy those were the days! But honestly I really love my little sister and we play a lot more now that she is getting older.

Here are all of our friends taking it easy after making Valentine cards. Our mom's are always thinking of fun things for us to do together!

She is pretty cute, isn't she ;)

Where Everybody Knows Your Name

Reese and I had a great time visiting our family in New Jersey but we missed some very important people while we were away. This is my best friend Kensley and I missed her so much! We love to play at the beach together and we are both very accomplished swimmers!
Kensley and I love to eat at Pinky's on Tuesday nights when the balloon guys are there! Kensley got a jet this time and I love my Princess Cinderella!

There is another very important "person" that we all missed terribly, our dog Elvis! We hating being away from him so long and he was just as happy to see us as we were to have him home!

Back to Paradise

I am happy to report that we all made it back to Hawaii safe and sound! Mommom and Poppop flew back with me, Ava and Mommy. We were so excited to be home and show Mommom and Poppop some of the great sights in paradise.
Here's Ava and Poppop checking out the fish at the International Market in Waikiki.

Mommom and I love going to the beach!

I am really becoming a water bug!! I love to crawl in the sand and even taste it! Mommy tries to stop me from eating sand but every now and then I sneak some in ;)

Ava really missed the beach and swimming in the ocean. She is a great swimmer!

What a view!

This was our last trip to the beach with Mommom and Poppop :( We had so much fun with them and it was so sad when they had to leave. I hope that they come back ASAP because we miss them sooooooooo much!

Surprise Reese, Happy (early) Birthday

I know that my birthday isn't until February 12th but my wonderful family in NJ threw me a surprise party before I left to go back to Hawaii. Unfortunately none of them will be able to be with me on my actual birthday but I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with all my family (of course Daddy couldn't be here but Mommy told me that he is away helping a lot of people doing his very important job so it is okay).

Aunt Kate and cousin RJ got into the party mood with some great party hats!!

Here's RJ giving me a big birthday hug. He is a great hugger!!

It's almost time for everyone to sing to me, I can't wait!

Mommom picked out a beautiful princess cake to go with the princess theme.

This is my very own cake, I think that they wanted me to dive right in and get messy but that just isn't what a good princess would do. The cake didn't go to waste though, RJ made sure of that.

Time for presents! I let Ava, Jason and Josh open most of my gifts, I was much more interested in all the Reese's candy my Aunt Jacki gave me. I must be pretty famous if I have my own line of candy!

Jason, Josh and Ava had a blast running around the house playing. I can't wait until I figure out how to walk, then I will be able to keep up with them!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

2009 started out a bit chilly as we headed north to Mommom and Poppop's house at Mt. Snow Vermont. As you can tell I didn't waste any time getting out into the snow. Mommy said that I am still too young to try skiing but I love making snow angels and climbing up the snow drifts. Next year I'll be hitting the slopes with the big kids!

Reese is too little to get out into the snow but she had a blast playing with all of our new Christmas presents. Aunt Jacki and Uncle Pat took great care of us while Mommy was out skiing.
Uncle Pat and I spent a lot of time playing and my favorite thing to do together was play with Play Dough. Who knew that Uncle Pat was so good with Play Dough?!

Twas the night before Christmas.......

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house we had a great time at Michelle's place!

Ava and Michelle were searching the sky for any sign of Santa and his sleigh. I think Ava spotted Rodolph's red nose!

Uncle T-Bone and Jason manned the computer and kept us updated on Santa's latest location.

Mommy and I had so much fun!

After the party we headed back to Mommom and Poppop's house to hang our stockings and put out cookies for Santa.

Don't our Christmas jammies look cute?!

We all headed up to bed and went straight to sleep so that Santa could come and bring us presents! (This was my first Christmas Eve but that's what everyone told me would happen!)
