Uncle Chris came out from California to visit us over Labor Day weekend. We had so much fun while he was here! We went to Turtle Beach, watched lots of college football, went to Lanikai Beach and grilled out in the back yard. Unfortunately my parents are horrible about taking pictures and we only got one shot of Uncle Chris in the car so you will have to use your imagination.
Ava played in the ocean at Lanikai for over two hours with our friend Kensley. The adults had to take turns watching them because they wouldn't get out of the water! Ava had her swimmies on and Kensley was in her inner tube and they just floated around playing funny games. I of course watched everything from the comfort of my sun tent.
The next weekend we went with our friends the Peterson's (Kensley and her family) to Shark'
s Cove to snorkel. I know what you're thinking, Shark's Cove must have sharks but don't worry there aren't sharks there just tons of fish and other sea life to see. Ava and Kensley love to hang out in the tide pools and look at the fish, they even saw a few eels! Again I spend most of my time napping under my tent but everyone looks like they are having a great time in the water. Mommy and Daddy get to go snorkeling together and we get to play with our friends, it is fun for everyone.
